Proceeds from the sale of the single will be donated to the “Rosalie Trombley Scholarship” founded in 2012 at St. Clair College in Windsor. Annual recipients of the scholarship are part of the Music Theatre Performance program.
Says lead vocalist and songwriter Ewan Currie regarding the genesis of the cover, ”We liked the Thin Lizzy version a lot, read that it was a Bob Seger song (turns out Thin Lizzy had opened for Seger on a US tour) and then discovered that it was about a Windsor based tastemaker named Rosalie Trombley. That's when we decided to start playing it. It just seemed really cool that a woman from Windsor could wield such influence on American music. When we played at the Casino in Windsor we played the song as a little nod to her history there, only to find that the entertainment manager of the casino was her son, Tim Trombley. He came by our green room and thanked us for the tribute. He was visibly moved and it was a pretty cool moment.”
